Dr. Sanjay Phadke, MD DPM Neuroscience Fellow (Germany)

Dr. Phadke is alumnus of National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, and did his Neuroscience Fellowship at KFA, Juelich & Munich University. He is associated with Jehangir Hospital and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune as Consultant Neuropsychiatrist, and formerly Associate Professor of Psychiatry & Co-investigator of ICMR Center for Advanced Research. He received National Merit Scholarship, WHO Young Mental Health Professional mentorship under Prof. Sartorius, national & international awards for research papers and orations/invited lectures.
His 25 years of professional work includes major contribution to the field of Disaster Management and Epidemiological Research in India spanning a decade during the 90’s and he has been recipient of Government’s Letter of Appreciation and Rotary International’s Award. Subsequently he led over 50 international clinical research projects in neuropsychiatry and received recognition internationally as clinical research consultant and trainer. He was instrumental in conceptualization of the Neuroscience of Yoga program, which led to development of ambulatory polygraph device, and advanced the concept of ‘process research’. He is actively involved in development of emerging technologies for healthcare including conceptualization of ‘Health Grid’ as the basic infrastructure for creating accessible-affordable-quality healthcare system. He is Convener of the Clinic Software Task Force of Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS).
Prof. S. N. Bhavsar, PhD
Prof. Bhavsar is an eminent Indologist and serves as General Editor of Motilal Benarasidas, the leading global publisher of Indology. He retired as the Group Coordinator of KBCS (Knowledge Based Computing Systems) of C-DAC (Center for Advanced Computing, under Dept. of Electronics, Govt. of India). He served on several high powered Government Committees for advancement and application of computing and supercomputing and has been recipient of UNDP (United Nations Development Program) Fellowship. He has published books and lectured globally on fundamentals of health from the perspective of physics and mathematics, and represents the blend of classical and modern sciences. He has been a two time recipient of GAU Gold Medal for his theoretical work on Ayurveda, and First ISTAM-Yoga Forum Award for his work on Yoga.
Prof. S. B. Sarmukaddam, PhD (Adj. Prof.)
Prof. Sarmukaddam is an internationally acclaimed biostatistician, epidemiologist and population scientist. He has authored several textbooks on Biostatistics and Clinical Research, which is popular course material in universities all over the globe. He was on the faculty of National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore and Institute for Research in Medical Statistics, ICMR, New Delhi. He is recipient of Prof. B.G. Prasad Award & Gold Medal for statistics applied to epidemiology and lectured in several universities in the USA, UK, and Canada. He has been instrumental in designing and analyzing several important epidemiological studies and clinical trials, including Disaster Epidemiology for the ICMR Center for Advanced Research at MIMH and has championed ‘equivalence trials’ methodology for complementary and alternative medical interventions.
Mr. Prasad Gadkari, M Phil (Clinical Psychology, NIMHANS)
Mr. Gadkari graduated in Science, post-graduated in Psychology, and is alumnus of National Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. He is associated with Tech Mahindra as Senior Manager & Head of Global Counseling Services, and formerly faculty member of MIMH, Pune & Co-investigator of ICMR Center for Advanced Research.
His 25 years of professional work includes major contribution to the field of Disaster Management and Epidemiological Research in India spanning a decade during the 90’s and formulation of clinical counseling course. Subsequently he worked in over 30 international clinical research projects in neuropsychiatry and received recognition for his work on psychometric tools for application in clinical studies.
